In
order to start an order, we require a deposit of 50%. The balance
on the order will be due prior to shipping or pick-up. Remember,
if you pay the balance by personal check, we may need up to 14 days to
clear the check and release the furniture.
After
the order is placed, you may cancel within 3 days of the dated sales
invoice for a full refund. The refund will be given in the same
form of payment as the deposit. If the deposit was paid by personal
check, we may need 14 days to clear the check before we send your refund.
You
may make changes in wood, stain, style or other standard options up to
7 days from the date of the sales invoice. Any changes made after
7 days can not be guaranteed.
The
Amish Craftsman warranties the quality and craftsmanship of every piece
for 1 year from the date of delivery or pick-up. If a defect in
quality or craftsmanship exists, we may repair or replace the piece depending
on the circumstances. For any piece needing repair, arrangements
will be made with Pack Ship USA for pick-up at the expense of the Amish
Craftsman. The piece will then be returned by Pack Ship USA to
the customer after it is repaired, which can take up to 10 weeks. In
cases of replacement, arrangements will be made with Pack Ship USA for
pick-up at the expense of the Amish Craftsman. The piece will then
be returned by Pack Ship USA to the customer after it is rebuilt, which
can take up to 14 weeks.
Since
each piece is built to order, the completion time given is only an estimate
and not a guarantee. Currently, most pieces are completed within
10 to 14 weeks before shipping.
Once an
order is complete, you will be notified by email, phone call and/or mail. All
balances must be paid within 14 days of notification. Please make arrangements
for delivery or pick-up within 14 days of the final payment. Any orders
that are not delivered or picked up within 14 days from the date of the final
payment will be charged $25/month storage fee. If we are not contacted
or receive payment within 14 days from notification, the order will be returned
to the builder and your deposit will be forfeited.

The
appearance of the wood used to build each piece of furniture may differ
from items viewed on the web site or stain sample boards. This
is due to the natural characteristics of the wood and the hand craftsmanship
used to create each piece of furniture. Each board of wood contains
natural wood color and grain variations. Color or grain may be
enhanced or hidden when the finish color is applied. Grain variations
can be influenced by tree size, growth rate, climate changes, site conditions,
genetics, mineral deposits, pits, streaks, pin holes, knots, unusual
grain patterns, darker heart woods, lighter sap woods, etc. Due
to these natural variations of color and grain, stain finish may vary
slightly from the samples provided. The samples provide an approximate
description of the tone on that particular wood grain. Returns
will not be accepted due to color variations.
We accept no responsibility or liability for any customer dissatisfaction
in his/her choice of stain, style, size, miscellaneous options, hardware,
etc. on furniture built to fulfill an order. These choices should
be seriously considered before placing your order. Since all pieces
are built to order, there are no returns on furniture built according
to the customer’s specifications.
